Plants with uses:

If you like plants that you can use for cooking, you can get Coriander, Thai Basil, Curry leaves, Mint, Rose Mary,

Thai Basil, be sure and water the plant if the soil becomes dry to the touch

Curry leaves, (You can simply take a small cutting of coriander and place it into a small jar or tub of water to grow).

Mint, it’s great for indoor planting too, just needing some light and regular watering to see it thrive.

or maybe if you want spice (and you presumably want) Chili padi.

Rose Mary, it’s the perfect choice for a spot in the kitchen or in a window planter.

Pandan is great for Serap, and if you pick the leaves and crack the leaves, it will smell good, but note that it is a little sharp.

Rosemary is famous for Red pasta, it smells better if you put a pinch during, and after cooking, as a garnish.

Thai Basil if you want actually, don't chop the leaves, but tear them instead for the most flavor, utilize them in pizza, and for salads.

 

You can use Curry leaves for Curry leaves contain compounds that have significant anticancer effects, and used in traditional Indian cuisine.

Mint can be eaten and if you get Mint tea, and put extra mint in the tea, it will be even minty.

Maybe use Chili to make some spicy meals and cook them in curry or maybe use them in rice or (I could go on for hours, about things you can use chili for).

And if you have Basil, cut the flowers off, don't let them rise if the flowers start growing cut them off because the basil will stop growing.

 

The curry leaf plant will grow quite big, as big as an adult person, so plant  it outdoors, and you can do Kaya, or maybe the roots and leaves are boiled to make tea,

keep the mint, Thai basil, rosemary, near the kitchen, if you use it offen.

 

Plants No. 1

The things you will need are:

A spade.

A pot (so the roots of the plants can spread), (or a nursery if you want to grow a lot, and if you have a nursery I recommend something that says can grow in a nursery, like Bok Chor).

Some soil.

A seed of your choice there are a lot of plants to choose from if you are growing outside if you want to grow a creeper (Not from Minecraft), (Cucumber for example) that climbs on poles, I recommend at the beginning you should put small sticks in the soil near the plant to help it grow and wrap around the stick.

A watering can, but at the start, use a spray bottle (you should water your plants every day I usually water them at midday 

You can do this with bamboo for the sticks (for creeper plants) and soft netting and grow the plant right next to the post, if you are doing it on the pavement, do it in fairly sided pots.

How to plant:

The most common thing to do is to put a small amount of soil at the bottom and then put the seed in and then cover it up, NO, don't do that, please don't do that, ideally, you should do is, you fill half of the pot with soil, the reason you should do that is because the roots of the plant will have space to spread.

If you are not home lots of times you can do this setup, you can make a cheaper version of this, by getting a water bottle and poking or drilling a small hole through the cap and fill it up with water, and you can stick the water bottle to a stick that the bottle can easily come out but strong enough to hold the water bottle, and what you get is a dropper that you can modify to your will.

Once the plant is grown, take scissors and cut your plants, and if you have Aloe vera, you may use the gel inside to heal wounds.

Turtles By Dr. Pelf & Dr. Uzair (World Turtle Day Special)

There are many types of turtles, to soft-shell turtles to river Terrapins, 

Soft shell turtle have, well, A soft shell, and they have webbed feet.

River Terrapins are turtles that can tuck themselves into their shell, and have webbed feet and can lift their bodies to walk.

And young turtles known the same beach they were born in, even after 20 years, and humans still don't know how they do it, it is like they have a compass in their brain.


What are dangerous to turtles, the TCS, conservation and the Turtle conservation society because, and teaming with kumpung people.

Why are they endangered? "It is because they sell turtle eggs, they have laws about selling turtle eggs but they are all different states, but current law ONLY applies to leather back turtles, if the human population increases, but the turtle population decreases."

Why can't we eat turtle eggs? "if the turtles are extinct we have no way of bringing them back, don't eat turtle eggs."

How old can turtles be? "The bigger the turtle, the longer it can live, the leather back turtle can live to see 100 years old, but the   
green back turtles live to 50 years old, since it is small."

How are the turtles seen in Malaysia? "In Malaysia, Terengganu is where turtles mostly lay their eggs, Penang has special turtles named Penyu lipas (Cockroach turtle."

Are the mother turtles picky to chose a beach when they want to lay their eggs? "They need the right condition, to lay their eggs, they need sandy beaches, some developments they put stones and bricks on beaches that cover the sand."

What happens if turtles lay eggs in the ocean? "They cannot lay eggs in water, because the sand makes constant temperature, and light to grow, they are buried 20 CM below below sand, for the Terrapins, the TCS buries them in a enclosed area, with light and good temperature, for the sea turtles, we don't relocate them, because the place that they are buried, are for balanced amount of turtle genders, if the place they are buried hot the turtle eggs will be females, and vice versa."

Where does the mother turtle go after laying eggs? "The mothers don't look after their eggs, the mothers don't lay their eggs at the same place every time, the young mothers lay eggs 5 times in one season, the older ones lay 10-12 times in one season, one time they lay eggs 100 eggs are laid, but the mortality rate is 1 in one thousand only grow to be an adult." (sad).

Terrapins lay 43 eggs MAX at one time.

How do you working to take care of the turtle eggs, don't sell them?
"We have other sources of income, so they won't sell."

Some people rely on turtle eggs for a source of income how to we make sure they are taken care of? "In Terengganu some beaches are designated to be for Turtle egg collecting for certain people only, and then the turtle egg sellers pick up the eggs, then sell them, Taiwan takes care of turtles until they are 20 years old and then they release them and then they die, because they don't know how to look for food." (Also Sad).


Why do turtles take the same route to their beach? "When baby turtles hatch they go different routes, the sea turtles go all around the world, but Terrapins just spend their life going up and down their river."

What can we do to protect out beloved turtles? "In the 90s they did not know that the heat changed the gender, so the Seatru society work closely with 7 Ngos to protect 42 beaches, Tcs is the only Ngo that is doing the Terrapin conservation, not much research is devoted to Terrapins apposed to sea-turtles."

What can we do? "Increase our knowledge of nature, and don't sell or buy or help to sell turtle eggs, don't go to restrains that sell turtles, don't litter try to reduce waste and consume things, don't use one use plastic bags, and don't use plastic containers, if you are diving don't grab turtles and hold them, people can volunteer at the Tcs, share knowledge of turtles going extinct, or else there will be no more turtles."



Send this on social media let everyone know this is happening, it is not how many likes it gets, it is how many people KNOW ABOUT IT, if we litter & eat turtle eggs, there is a high chance that the turtles will go extinct, let that be a lesson to you, DON'T EAT TURTLE EGGS!, and. Goodbye.

Qur'an by Sheikh Gabriel Keresztes No. 8

Today I learned about Qur'an:

And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into distribution [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

IT is better to give money to poor people one ringgit every day, then to not give at all, if you see donation boxes, give money, some-people need it more than you do.

And complete the Hajj and 'umrah for Allah. But if you are prevented, then [offer] what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. And do not shave your heads until the sacrificial animal has reached its place of slaughter. And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head [making shaving necessary must offer] a ransom of fasting [three days] or charity or sacrifice. And when you are secure, then whoever performs 'umrah [during the Hajj months] followed by Hajj [offers] what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. And whoever cannot find [or afford such an animal] - then a fast of three days during Hajj and of seven when you have returned [home]. Those are ten complete [days]. This is for those whose family is not in the area of al-Masjid al-Haram. And fear Allah and know that Allah is severe in penalty.

When you go for Haji, there are so many people, learn how to behave in Haji, if you fight in Haji, Allah will NOT count your Haji, Don't argue at Haji.

Hajj is [during] well-known months, so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj. And whatever good you do - Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, O you of understanding.

There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord [during Hajj]. But when you depart from 'Arafat, remember Allah at al- Mash'ar al-Haram. And remember Him, as He has guided you, for indeed, you were before that among those astray.

It is ok to sell and buy at Haji.

Whatever you do, you do it right, when you pray you do it right, when you read The Qur'an you do it right.

Always remember Allah.

Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah like your [previous] remembrance of your fathers or with [much] greater remembrance. And among the people is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world," and he will have in the Hereafter no share.

Worship Allah all the time, don't just worship Allah in Haji or Ramadhan only, Don't do that.

But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

Be your best in this Dunya and the Hereafter, excel in this world, and excel in the hereafter.

Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.

And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him - for him who fears Allah. And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered.

And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents.

Don't just SAY, you are a good person, BE a good person.

And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption.

Don't praise yourself, a believer is humble, he/her actions speak louder than words, Allah do not like Corruption, and Allah does not like Corruptors.

And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place.

Fear Allah, if you are a good believer, don't be proud, don't be arrogant.

And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is kind to [His] servants.

Do everything for Allah, when you make money, don't let money get into your head, and lead you astray, you dedicate your self to Allah.

O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly], and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

Don't choose what you want to do in Islam, people are Muslims and drink wine, people follow what is easy for them/

But if you deviate after clear proofs have come to you, then know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

Don't give up, and keep ongoing.

Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.

People say "Why should I pray to Allah if I can't see Allah", 

No, do you see Allah, no, but do you see the Imam of people of Allah, yes you do.

Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. And whoever exchanges the favor of Allah [for disbelief] after it has come to him - then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

There are so many signs of Allah and they still don't believe.

Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allah are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account.

Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."

Spend money that is good, if you give people things, don't give Bad cloths.

Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you, and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

Sometimes things that are good for you, you don't like it, you may like it but it is not good for you.

Hadiths by Sheikh Tariq Appleby No. 9

Today I learned about Hadiths:

Inmagine spending Thousands of Ringgits on a wedding, think about having a wedding, and it costs 10 grand (Thousands), and you are having the wedding, that the people in question, are going into debt unless they have a lot of savings.

Weddings should be small and simple, not Large and Loud parties, nothing should be haram at a party, no wine, no pork, no haram things if you have a wedding, don't just invite rich people, invite poor people too, because they don't have the luxuries that you have (like beef).

"O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, because that is more effective in guarding one's chastity and lowering one's gaze Whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for that will be a shield for him."

Don't go into debt, for marriage, only get married if you can afford it.

In the shade of the Qur'an by Sheikh Gabriel Keresztes No. 1

Today I learned in the shade of the Qur'an:

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced or [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Don't eat dead animals but everything in the ocean is halal. 

If you are going to die, and you find a bottle of wine or pork, you may eat it, you are allowed to maintain your life if someone puts a gun to your head and says "Are you a Muslim?", you are allowed to lie, if it is at the cost of your life you may lie.

Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.

Allah sent the Book down in a whole not little bit by a little bit.

Those are the one who have exchanged guidance for error and forgiveness for punishment. How patient they are in pursuit of the Fire.

That is [deserved by them] because Allah has sent down the Book in truth. And indeed, those who differ over the Book are in extreme dissension.

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, despite the love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

Righteousness is in your imam, give things that you love for the sake of Allah, not for them to thank you.

Keep your promises don't say things you don't mean, a lot of people don't believe people who don't keep their promises.

O you who have believed, prescribed for you is legal retribution for those murdered - the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But whoever overlooks from his brother anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him with good conduct. This is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. But whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment.

No-one has the liberty for taking someone's life, no-one can get away with murder if Allah is watching.

And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.

Revenge is natural, Allah said that Forgiving is better than death.

If people saw murders, people would think twice of doing murder.

A lot of people have fear, fear keeps us away from bad things, but some people have fear of this Dunya, Love and Fear Allah.

Prescribed for you when death approaches  [any] one of you if he leaves wealth [is that he should make] a bequest of the parents and near relatives according to what is acceptable -a duty upon the righteous.

Everyone should have a will because we don't know when we will die. 

O you who have believed, prescribed for you is the Fast, as it was prescribed for (the ones) who were before you, that possibly you would be pious.

If you fast, you should NOT be just hungry, you should know that some other people have harder lives than you have, don't just fast, fasting makes you feel sad about people who don't have what you have.

If you fast in Ramadhan and in Shawal, it will be like you fasted for a whole year.

Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess - it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.

And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.

Allah listens to our prayers, but do we listen to him, the best thing to do is to be a servant of Allah.

And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, "They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj." And it is not righteousness to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is [in] one who fears Allah. And enter houses from their doors. And fear Allah that you may succeed.

 Fight in the way of Allah whose whos fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.

And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.

[Fighting in] the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, and for [all] violations is legal retribution. So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourself] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

Spend the money for the sake of Allah.

Hadiths by Sheikh Tariq Appleby No. 8

Today I learned about Hadiths:

DON'T be racist, Don't be a White or Black person, and don't be a person that says this car is white only, or this beach is white only, Racism is bad, Racism is normally put into your skin color,

And we have certainly honored  the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference,



O Mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.

Racism is learned, not being born with racism.

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

People who have the most Taqwa are the most Righteous among you, Taqwa is not something in the color of your skin.

Fulfilling duties is Taqwa, doing good things is Taqwa, and 

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.

The Prophet said "Allah, Most High, has removed from you the pride of the pre-Islamic period and its boasting in ancestors. One is only a pious believer or a miserable sinner. You are sons of Adam, and Adam came from dust. Let the people cease to boast about their ancestors. They are merely fuel in Jahannam; or they will certainly be of less account with Allah than the beetle which rolls dung with its nose."

Don't be a person that says "I am better than you." Don't be that person.

Allah's messenger said "The one who knows [by recitation and Memorizon] the Book of Allah most should be Imam of the people. If they are equal in recitation, then the one who knows the Sunnah most and if they are equal in the Sunnah and the earliest of them to emigrate (to al-Medinah) and if they are equal in the emigration then the oldest among them in Islam. In another narration,it was "Agewise"/. And no man should lead another in prayer in his domain or sit in his place of honor without his permission."
