Cats can learn their names each other's names and your name.
Scientists showed photos of the cats they lived with and played audio footage of the cats shown.
But sometimes different audio would play, and the cats would stare at the screen longer due to the fact that the audio was different.
Also, they did the same for humans.
They used a control group from cat cafes because cats from cat cafes have no time to learn humans names because so many humans and cats come and go there is no reason to learn the names of the human beans.
(Yes the word beans is intensional)
