a volcano can be dangerous not only because of not only the lava nearby the volcano but the atmospheric air changes, the ash in the air from a volcano can affect other countries too, some volcanos affected Egypt to the degree that the Nile river was affected.
Also Many scientists believe that many Chinese dynasties fell due to the fact of the volcanos.
