This is Halloween This is Halloween pumpkins scream in the dead of night. - Nightmare before Christmas.
halloween is a celebration held on the 31st of October, the tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain when individuals would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Pope Gregory III established the 1st of November as a time to glorify all saints in the eighth century. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain.
Over time it went from that to the trick-or-treating and candy we all know today, as one-quarter of all the candy sold yearly in the U.S. is bought just for Halloween.
News and community members motivated parents to take anything “scary” or “grotesque” out of Halloween festivities. Because of these measures, Halloween lost most of its superstitious and spiritual acts by the start of the twentieth century.
Halloween movies are well known to be watched and viewed during the "spooky month" “Scream,” “Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Friday the 13.” as classic horror titles, regarded as well as one of the best stop-motion animation movies LThe Nightmare Before Christmas".
As we well know, black cats are associated with bad luck as well as being associated with Halloween.
Happy end of "SPOOKY MONTH". :D
