Plants

Plants are vital, and essential to life on earth as you need to eat plants to survive.

Plants use a method called Photosynthesis. which uses Chlorophyll, the things that make up a plant's leaves.

Using the leaves, the chlorophyll takes in Carbon Dioxide, water, and sunlight to produce food, during this process the plant is releasing oxygen for us humans and other animals to breathe.

The roots of the plant are what hold it in place, while it also takes in minerals and water from the soil.

The flower of the plant is used to pollinate and can be used to increase the quantity of the plant by spreading the seeds, there are many ways for a plant to spread its seeds.

One method is that the seeds are light enough for the air or wind to pick them up and float them to another location.

Another method is pollination by bees, hummingbirds, butterflies, moths, and flies, this pollination is accidental as the incests just want the sweet-tasting nectar of the flower and the animal accidentally rubs against the stamens (the part of the flower that contains the pollen) and gets pollen stuck on itself. It then transfers to another flower and transfers some of the pollen to another flower.
